Kevin Chambliss Kennedy was born on November 3, 1955, in Clarksville, Tennessee. He graduated from Austin Peay State University, with honors, in 1978, and went on to receive a Masters of Arts degree in 1979. Kevin began teaching American History courses at Austin Peay State University at the age of 22.
Kevin graduated from the Nashville School of Law in 1983, where he topped his law class in the field of evidence. In 1989, he was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Kevin owned 11 separate businesses in 1996. Kevin started a residential rental business which at one time had 109 houses as well as additional farms and commercial buildings. He also ran the Kennedy Walking Horse Farm, which had been in his family since 1900. There was a period of time in which he had 108 horses and multiple locations.
Kevin appeared on numerous televisions shows such as, Prominent Legal Issues, Ask the Attorney and The Treva and Kevin Show. He also promoted and produced a television program called “For God and Country”, which has aired for 28 years. In addition, he appeared on national television with the Oprah Winfrey Show and Trinity Broadcasting Network, which aired internationally.
The New York Times, Washington Post and CNN (worldwide television newscaster), have interviewed Mr. Kennedy about his legal expertise.
Kevin has hired and trained more than 110 lawyers. He created his own private courtroom, The Court of Creativity. More than 25,000 students from across the area have participated and attended mock trials there.
Kevin is a well-known speaker at churches, schools and civic clubs. He received numerous awards and recognitions such as, City of Clarksville Citizen of the Year, Montgomery County Citizen of the Year and Volunteer of the Year. He has also received recognition from State and Congressional members. The Mayor of Clarksville presented Kevin with the Key to City in 2009.
The greatest advice Kevin gives is to serve the Lord with all your heart, mind and spirit. He attributes everything he ever accomplished in his life to the power of Jesus Christ. His favorite bible verse is Proverbs 3; 5-6, which appear on all three of his law firm buildings. Kevin published his first book in 1989, which sold both nationally and internationally.
